Meet Olly the cat and Karly Johnson, his owner. They form the picture-perfect family, one based on mutual love and affection.
However, even the most flawless photograph might occasionally turn out to be a little embarrassing.
Johnson adopted Olly from a shelter two years ago. Since then, the already-fluffy kitten matured into an even fluffier cat. But all that extra fur has given rise to some unforeseen cleanliness issues — particularly when it comes to Olly’s rear end.
In other words, sometimes what Olly intends to leave behind in the litter box ends up sticking with him.
“He’s such a floof,” Johnson told The Dodo. “I would hate to shave around his fluffy bum like some owners do. It’s too cute. So, I help keep him clean.”

Olly requires so much assistance “getting clean” that he and Johnson have developed a specific post-bathroom ritual.
Olly places his rear-end in Johnson’s lap when the need arises so she may wash him down.
Johnson explained, “I use an unscented water wipe… and talk to him softly as I clean.” “I wipe his bottom, hug him, cuddle him, and give it my all.”
Olly, on the other hand, seemed to like the treatment.
This tiny ritual is usually kept concealed behind closed doors. Johnson’s boyfriend, on the other hand, recently decided to take a few photos of Olly’s wipe-down to post on social media.
Is it an embarrassing situation to be caught on camera? Yes, in a way. Johnson, on the other hand, isn’t embarrassed – and she shouldn’t be.
“It’s true. It’s just Olly and me “she stated “It’s just part of being a cat mom.”
In actuality, Johnson’s commitment to keeping Olly clean and comfortable says more about their beautiful connection than anything else they do together.
“I don’t have any children of my own, but I do have a cat that is quite the character. But I do what has to be done “Johnson said. “Olly is lavished with attention and extras. And pampered with some much-needed bottom cleansing.”
